You know what’s really important to you on your birthday. Who do you want to celebrate with? what do you want to do? Initially, I thought of throwing asam laksa party at my place with my family.
But the Boyfan whisked me away to Singapore because I was so upset I missed the trip to Pasarbella and homecooked dinner last month.
We went to the artisanal market called Pasarbella for cheese tasting, fresh pomegranate cake (SGD 12 a slice!) and stir-fry brussels sprout with bacon. Yum!
Of course the two bookworms have to pay a visit to independent bookstores at Tiong Baru (Books Actually and Woods In The Books). Between those bookstores, I found and bought a printed canvas of butcher’s cut (So happy as I’ve been wanting one since I saw it in Le Cordon Bleu London).
Oh, and I had a little more time to doll up myself and take some nice photos (been inspired to look like pageant girls since the gala night haha!) So I was walking about Singapore in Prey Of London’s geo maxi dress c/o Axotiq, my favourite party bag from Gucci, golden gladiator flats from Aldo and MAC’s fuchsia lipstick. Though only manage one good pageant-like photo, this:
