Weeks ago, I was told that my cookbook ‘Malaysian Meals In 30 Minutes’ was not available in a bookshop when someone was looking for it to buy for her daughter. I didn’t think much of it. Then my publisher wrote to me to tell me that they are going to reprint my cookbook because the first edition is running low in stock! 😀
It means a lot to me. Sometimes I think that things I do in the kitchen is so unconventional that I’m not sure if it’s everyone’s cup of tea. Just yesterday I used the apple corer on onions then smacked garlic with rolling pin (?!) and thought what would a chef think of me. Moreover, I was told that most books don’t get reprinted and sales of books is especially slow this year due to GST. So getting a reprint is very good news!

Yesterday, I went to MPH headquarter to collect the fresh copies. The second edition looks a little different. If you look at the photo above, you’ll see that the second edition, the background is bigger and brighter. There’s also a mention of a second reprint in the first few pages. Everything else in the same.
Next I’m waiting for the e-book to be ready. Stay tunnneee!
