I am invited to do a cooking demo at KLCC next month and will be introduced as ‘Chef Sara Khong’. I was amused with the misnomer as I’m not a chef, I’m just a food hacker.
Recently, I modified an Italian meal is so many ways, I don’t think any Italian chef will be happy with me. I created a ‘dutch oven’ with two trays and replaced an expensive lamb cut with a more affordable one. I spend 5 minutes in the kitchen and after 2 hours I’ve got a delicious meal for 4.
Not authentic, yes. But fast and easy, very!
