It’s big sista’s birthday. Instead of going to fancy restaurants, lil sista suggested doing something different: have breakfast at Imbi’s wet market for Ah Wen Koh’s famous Hainan coffee and toast! Oh, how we enjoyed the coffee, chee cheung fun and crispy kaya toast with generous slice of SCS butter. My mother, a kopitiam coffee conneiseur approved of the beverage. Brada’s only disapproval? “a bunch of weirdos dressing up to go to market”
