Reading: Status Anxiety by Alain de Botton

This book had been read half-way and abandoned for months. It’s highly interesting but requires too much thinking. You’ll need to read the sentences a few times and ponder. Not a light read but enlightening.

It’s about why modern people are more affected of their social status than their ancestors. It delved on things like love, expectation, snobbery and meritocracy (some of my favourite topics).

I shall complete it during my end of the year holiday!

P/s: Can’t resist taking my first selfie with my new phone.
