The producers at Bella NTV7 called to invite me to their show to make a dish based on barley, I said “Sure!”. Barley is something I occasionally order at kopitiam as it’s a healthier choice. Recently, I like to alternate between chrysanthemum tea, asam limau boi and barley.
But making a meal using barley proves to be tricky. So I thought of incorporating this healthy grain into our everyday meal. Think of sandwich, congee, oats and even sushi. Just sneak some of these grain into them and nobody would know!
Being on TV is rather fun. I love the excitement and the rush before filming. Getting to meet other guest is fun too. At the makeup and guest room, I got to speak to Megan, Nadia Heng and Christy Ng – outgoing ladies with a lot of energy.
